Call it the chicken wing defense.
A 16-year-old ticketed in Manitoba, Canada, for blazing along at speeds over 100 mph told police he was rushing to reach a bathroom after eating too many wings, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said.
The excuse didn’t work.
The teen was booked for speeding and for driving without a supervisor, the RCMP Manitoba said in a tweet.
He was scorching rubber in a Chevrolet Camaro, according to the tweet.
In another tweet, the RCMP Manitoba said the teen will “most likely” have his license suspended.
This 16-year-old’s excuse for going 170 km/h in a Camaro? “Too many hot wings & needed a bathroom”. Fined $966 for speeding + $203 for driving w/o a supervising driver. Absolutely #noexcuses for that kind of speed. #rcmpmb pic.twitter.com/oXe78AAUgc
