A woman who police say is “armed and dangerous” is being sought in connection with the fatal shooting of her 8-year-old daughter and her stepfather and the wounding of her mother.

Port St. Lucie police early Monday circulated a picture of Alyssa Marie Torres, 28, and the silver 2005 Toyota Rav4 she is believed to be driving. The vehicle has a Florida tag; KPD-T14, according to police.

It was about 12:30 am when investigators found the three people shot at the Waterleaf Townhomes complex in Port St. Lucie.

Torres’ mother was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

There is no known motive for the incident.

According to investigators, Torres frequently visits the Palm Beach County and Orlando areas.
