It was game 5 of the world series for the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros Sunday night, but real pressure was on a fan rather than the players.
Washington Nationals fan Jeff Adams had to make a rapid decision between his beers or a world series home run ball.
At the top of the second inning Yordan Alvarez sent the ball fly at 107 mph and into the crowd.
Jeff was double fisting two Bud-light beers when the ball came fly towards him.
“I was sitting down, my wife went upstairs to get some food… all of a sudden the ball got hit, I had two beers in my hand, the ball was coming, I watched it, angled, put my chest down, that was it. Right there – easy.” Adams told WUSA.
Stadium goers would agree that considering the price of stadium beers, Jeff made the right decision.
What a legend 🤣
