A man was arrested at an Orlando hotel for the alleged theft of 66 rolls of toilet paper.
Angel Esteban Hernandezcinto, 31, was booked into the Orange County Jail on Thursday, charged with theft from a public lodging establishment. FOX 35 News reported that Hernandezcinto was arrested by sheriff’s deputies after the incident at the Marriott Hotel on World Center Drive.
Investigators said that a security guard witnessed Hernandezcinto pushing a trash can to his van and place a bag inside, FOX 35 reported The guard looked into the window, saw it was hotel toilet paper, and that Hernandezcinto admitted to taking the rolls that were worth $.99 each.
FOX 35 said the arrest report stated Hernandezcinto told the security guard that he was taking the toilet paper to the family of a woman he knew who had no job, and that he apologized.
