After setting the internet on fire with the selfie that left citizens begging to be detained, one of the officers from the “Hot Cop” trio is going to be making his way into the homes of millions.

According to TMZ, Daniel Rengering, with the Gainesville Police Department in Florida has taken a leave of absence to try his hand on the next season of “Survivor”.

While it’s said that the department will have a job for him if he wants to return, Daniel has left to begin filming season 37 in Fiji. He looks to make at least $10 thousand just for being a contestant and $1 million if he wins.

And to pre-empively address the question, no, he is not the one who got in trouble for making anti-semitic comments on Facebook.
