Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey knows his worth to Jaguars.
And he made it clear on Thursday morning when he arrived outside TIAA Bank Field in an armored truck on the first day of training camp.

The stunt comes six weeks after learning the Jaguars wouldn’t offer him a contract extension this year.
“As I know, I’ve been let known that I won’t be getting a contract extension (this year). Take it however you may want to take that,” Ramsey said in June. “But as long as I’m part of this organization, as long as I’m a part of Duval County, I’m going to give the city (and) the players all I got. I think you know that. I’ve fought through injuries and I haven’t missed a game yet.”
And he didn’t miss his chance Thursday morning to make another statement. And he even brought his own hype man.
“The man so good, they gonna give him his own jail,” his driver shouted from a bullhorn after they pulled up to TIAA Bank Field. “These receivers are on 24-hour lockdown!”
Ramsey, the fifth overall pick in 2016, has a base salary of $3.63 million this season. Under terms of his fifth-year option, that would jump to $13.7 million in 2020 and put him among the NFL’s 10 highest-paid cornerbacks. Ramsey’s four-year rookie contract is valued at $23.35 million and included a $15.63 million signing bonus.
