K-9 resource officer gets included in high school yearbook

A high school in Arkansas has a rather unique faculty member in their yearbook- a police K-9, to be exact.

Mya, a drug detection and tracking dog with the Bryant Police Department, was all smiles in the photo, which was pasted alongside the rest of the school faculty in the 2019 Bryant High School yearbook.

So it looks like one of Bryant PD’s finest School Resource Officers made the Hornet Yearbook this year,” BPD wrote on their Facebook page. “Good job Mya, you are representing the PD with pride…..Hornet Pride!!!”

Mya works with her handler, Sergeant Paul Tarvin, and her hijinks can be followed on her Instagram page.
