A 62-year-old man has been busted for a sex attack on an unconscious senior citizen inside her room at a Bronx hospital, police said Thursday.
Roberto Marcucci surrendered at the 40th Precinct Wednesday evening after he learned police, based on a tip, were looking for him. He was charged with sex abuse in the Monday afternoon incident at Lincoln Hospital.
Police said Marcucci, who walks with a limp, went to the hospital to visit someone else, then took the elevator to an upper floor and slipped into the 68-year-old victim’s room.
But another patient got suspicious and notified nursing staff. An employee caught him attacking the woman.
The suspect, who lives in Queens, has prior arrests for assault, petty larceny and drug possession.
