Osceola County deputies are seeking the public’s help to identify two thieves — one in disguise as a McDonald’s worker — wanted in recent heists at the fast-food chain’s Kissimmee locations.
The most recent theft happened Sunday at the McDonald’s at 3191 S. John Young Parkway. A man dressed as an employee, wearing a McDonald’s uniform, walked into the restaurant and behind the counter.
There, deputies say, he started working as a cashier
Then, an accomplice entered the store and placed an order.
The phony worker opened the register, grabbed the cash and the two fled, deputies said.
The same pair are suspected of a similar theft on Christmas Day, at the McDonald’s at 5725 W. Irlo Bronson Highway. Authorities have not said how much cash the pair have stolen.
The man in the uniform is believed to be in his mid-20s and is about 6-foot-2, 170 pounds. The other man, believed to be in his late 20s, is about 5-foot-10, 230 pounds, deputies said.
Anyone with information can call the Sheriff’s Office at (407) 348-2222.
