Delray Yacht Cruises is offering a reward to catch the naked man who stole an American flag and flagpole from a boat and then jumped into the Intracoastal Waterway.
It happened about 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 11, at 801 E. Atlantic Ave., in Delray Beach, when the naked man trespassed aboard two vessels, the Lady Atlantic and the Lady Delray, the business owners said in a post on their Facebook page.
Surveillance video shows a naked man, with short black hair and a trimmed black beard, half-covered in tattoos on his left arm and left leg, hopping over a gate and scrambling on the boat decks.
Business owner and captain Joe Reardon told WPTV-Ch.5 the buff burglar didn’t seem shy.
“The kid could have fallen off the third deck, whacked his head on the second deck, and now I have to deal with a dead person,” said Reardon.
The amount of the reward was not disclosed.
Delray Beach police are also looking for him. Investigators are asking anyone who recognizes him to call 561-243-7800.
