Police in Manchester, N.H., arrested a man Monday who allegedly grabbed a sword and chased after another man who asked him to turn down his music.
A man knocked on the door of Benjamin Layland, 47, on Monday to complain about the volume of his music, police said. Layland became incensed and grabbed a 2.5-foot sword and chased the man down a hallway. The man managed to escape without injury.
Police did not disclose what music Layland was listening to.
Layland was scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday after being charged with criminal threatening. In New Hampshire, criminal threatening can be charged as a felony if a deadly weapon is used as part of the offense.
