A retiring police officer in Winslow, Arizona, had an emotional moment as he signed off duty over the radio for the last time after 26 years.
The Winslow Police Department shared footage on Facebook of Sergeant Afton Foster calling in his final sign-off for his last shift before retirement, with his wife, Lisa, watching.
Sergeant Foster is visibly emotional as he tells the dispatcher, “It’s been my pleasure.”
The dispatcher then announces Foster’s retirement and thanks him for his service.
To Foster’s surprise, his three sons come on to give special messages to their father over the radio.
