This goes to show you that there are people out here that actually care for others! Everyone knows of my post from last week of the package being stolen off our porch. Well the reporting officer… Officer Joe Wess of the Youngstown police department stopped back for a visit today to bring back my son’s toy that was taken but it wasn’t from the person who stole it he went out and purchased another one with his own money and hand delivered it to me and my family personally because he said the image of that guy taking my kids toy practically haunted him and he could not sleep thinking how that guy was smiling about what he had just done in stealing the package. My hat goes off to you Sir. This is one of the nicest things someone has done for us in recent history and We appreciate this more than you know Officer Wess! Thank you Thank you Thank you and your kind heart! I can’t wait to pay this kind gesture forward the first chance I get! I should have got a picture but I’m currently sick so I didn’t want to give what I have to him so this video is the best I have in capturing this generosity and kind heartedness! There are still great people that care for others in the Cold world we are living in. Thanks again Officer Joe Wess the world needs more people like you in it! This Kind Man Deserves a SHARE!!!!

YOUNGSTOWN, OH — A local family captured a Youngstown police officer’s generosity on camera and is now sharing the heart warming video online.

According to Brian Koeppen’s Facebook post, last week someone stole a package off their porch which contained a new toy for their son. He says police came out to investigate after that and on Wednesday, they received a surprise visit from the original responding officer, Joe Wess.

He says Officer Wess went out and bought a new toy for Koeppen’s son with his own money and personally delivered it to the family. He says the officer told him he couldn’t sleep knowing a thief made off with his son’s toy.

Koeppen went on to say, “This is one of the nicest things someone has done for us in recent history and we appreciate this more than you know Officer Wess! Thank you Thank you Thank you and your kind heart! I can’t wait to pay this kind gesture forward the first chance I get!”
