A 5-week-old puppy is up for adoption and her name is Salvador Dolly, an ode to the Spanish painter Salvador Dalí. The puppy and the painter have one thing in common — Salvador Dolly’s dark fur under her nose gives the impression of a curled mustache, similar to Dalí’s.
“We were definitely in disbelief — how does a puppy end up looking like this?” Allison Seelig, head of marketing at Hearts & Bones Rescue in New York, told Good Morning America. “She’s super playful with her siblings. They crawl and nip all over each other.”
Salvador Dolly currently resides at Hearts & Bones Rescue, but that may change soon, Seelig told Good Morning America. “We’re getting a lot of inquiries for her,” Seelig said. “Her siblings don’t have mustaches, but are also very cute puppies.”
