A group of fisherman were surprised to find a rare Gulf Coast sight on the other side of their line Tuesday off Navarre Beach Fishing Pier, according to the Pensacola News Journal.
A group of Florida fishermen caught a 10-foot surprise on Tuesday as they reeled in a great white shark out of Gulf Coast waters.
After a 90-minute battle, the group managed to snag a 10-foot great white shark, weighing in at 650 pounds, the report showed.
The sighting is a rare one in Gulf Coast waters, according to the report.
The catch also caught the attention of beachgoers who gathered as the exhausted shark was pulled to shore, where the fishing team got into the water with and tagged the animal before releasing it, according to the report.
One of the spectators on the pier, Alisha Day of Oklahoma, posted the video on Facebook. The video contains strong language.
