A 93-year-old Pa. woman has been doing her part, staying home to “flatten the curve” of the coronavirus pandemic. So when her Coors Light supply ran out, she got creative.
A photo of the Pittsburgh-area woman, Olive Veronesi of Seminole, Pa., holding up a sign for more beer and an opened Coors Light can has since gone viral amid the coronavirus, KDKA-TV reports.
Best of all, the beer has been pouring in so Olive won’t have to go out for more – and won’t go thirsty until the ongoing health crisis lifts.
KDKA reports a relative of Veronesi’s took the photo of her holding a dry-erase board that read “I need more beer!”
The photo has now gone viral around the world, KDKA writes, adding that more than a million people have seen the photo after it was first posted on the KDKA Facebook page.
More importantly, several people have responded to Veronesi’s plea to resupply her suds, with numerous promises to send Coors Light Olive’s way — pronto!
As KDKA notes: We have it on good authority that Olive will be getting her wish very soon.
